TARGET:

Washington Mutual Home Loan Consultant
OBJECTIVE:
The primary objective was to create a fun, yet functional desk item
that realtors would keep on their desk to remind them of Washington
Mutual Home Loans. The piece had to emphasize the 4 icons - Sold Sign,
Picket Fence, Mailbox and Welcome Mat, using an item with 4-color processing.
SITUATION:
Washington Mutual requested a completely customized mailing piece that
was a 4-color process imprinted item. The item needed to be something
to place on a realtor's desk as a daily reminder and visual awareness
of the Lender, Washington Mutual. Also, each mailing piece would include
the business card of the consultant that submitted the realtor's name
for receipt of the mailing.
SOLUTION:
Each realtor received a custom imprinted 4" x 4" house. Each
house was plastic injected molded with a removable roof. The house served
as a daily reminder of Washington Mutual, giving them a definite advantage
over competitive lenders and an increased brand name recognition. The
house itself was filled with 100 boxes of
Beechies
imprinted gum. Each box was 4 color process printed using on of the
four approved designs - Sold Sign, Picket Fence, Mailbox and Welcome
Mat - and 25 each of the four different designs was placed in the house.
The project proved successful given that each realtor receive a nice
desk item and a daily treat with a custom message. The whole program
increased awareness of the products and services Washington Mutual.
