OBJECTIVE:
Acclaim Technology held a golf event. The objective was to provide executives a chance to network with one another in a relaxed atmosphere, while promoting Acclaim as the industry leader in eBusiness and Technology Solutions.

SITUATION:
The golf event was held in San Jose. Acclaim Technology wanted every executive to receive a gift upon check in. The gift had to be pertinent to the event. It also had to be perceived as valuable and useful to the executive receiving the gift and it had to reflect Acclaim's standards for excellence and quality.

SOLUTION:
The Promotions Dept. developed an ensemble of high perceived value products that would be used at the event and thereafter. The selection of golf themed items, included: a polo shirt, baseball cap, golf towel, golf tees and golf balls. All items were embroidered or imprinted with the Acclaim Technology logo and packaged in a golf accessory bag. The items were a huge success. Most participants immediately changed into the golf shirt and caps, clipped the Acclaim golf towel to their bags and took to the course.
